What’s this? Progress? Yes, it’s true, I have finally completed the framing of the pics and even started hanging them today. I have a l..o..n..g way to go, in fact, I’ll probably have to stop here and put my attentions elsewhere to finish off the week, but I can legitimately say I made progress. I hung pictures. I’ve only had this project on my to-do list for, oh, 2.5 years now. God only knows when I’ll complete it…but it is more than begun.

So long, Tom DeLay. What an asshole. Love the occasional reassurance that what goes around comes around. What an asshole. Did I already say that?

OK! What a glorious day! I hardly got to take it in, but I enjoyed it through our newly washed windows. What a difference, sheesh. John and Nathan are walking Sigs as I write this, probably along with half the neighborhood. It is most definitely an evening for bikes, scooters, dog walks, strollers. We’re coming back to life, emerging from hybernation. Hello robins! Hello sun! It felt truly odd to eat while the sun was out tonight, still adjusting to daylight savings. A good kind of odd. I can handle it.

Tomorrow Suz is coming over to help me with some food prep – chatting and cooking at the same time? That’s an insane indulgence, I may not be able to handle it. Crazy busy, it continues, and it’s all good.

Tonight, for dinner, whipped up a quick Spaghetti All-Amatriciana, fab. The smell of bacon and onion cooking together does not suck, for sure.
